The incident began in 1705 at Blackrock Township in the Province of Massachusetts Bay in the house of the Rev. Steadfast Hopkins.

After evenmeal, the reverend's daughter fell into a violent fit.

When Ezola Midnight is accused of causing the fits with witchcraft, her responses will determine her fate. Will she be hanged as a witch? Or will she go free?

Telling the story through quotes is so unique, but it definitely added to the environment. I felt like I was reading about a real event. At first, I thought the story was very linear, but I have played it about three times now and made subtle (or big, depending on certain options) changes. Overall, a fascinating, well-told story!

This honestly had me believing every word trying to figure out which one really happened, as I could visualize them both. I found it a little hard to read, but that is well understandable given the time period.

I say this was a very fine and fantastic read. It almost made me feel like I was reading some kind of lore from the old days. I really enjoyed it fully!
