I have often wondered where I would need to use the Pythagorean Theorem in real life; thank you for giving me some examples.

I love the immediate death after "Damn kids these days." If only all teachers thought in the first way. I was going to give this 5 stars, as this is an awesome way of having a student practice math, but I came across two unfinished parts. Going to the house, and "What do I do next?" after incorrectly determining with the shelves. I played the correct version through first. It is fun, but I cannot give top ratings when a student might screw up and wonder what happened next.
