There can be more to be wished for in terms of grammar. It doesn't offer much interactivity and choices. It's more of just telling a story, which kind of defeats the purpose of "playing" this. I know it's kind of difficult to implement that type of thing for the story you are looking to tell, but at least the story seems like it is going somewhere, that's a good start.
