Frankenstein's Tomb by Craig Dutton
You had escaped from your creator Viktor Frankenstein at last! On escaping his castle you made your way to the city docks and stowed on board a ship. Weeks later had passed and the crew came to a woeful end. You were the only survivor.
A frozen wastland lies before you and Viktor is not too far behind. You can't run all your life so a final confrontation with your creator awaits you!
This is not exactly based on the finale of the book but my unusual take on it.

Having completed and enjoyed one of Craig's games from 2013 (Doctor Incognitus and the Scorpion's Sting), I thought I would try his most recent for comparison. Frankenstein's Tomb has the same excellent storytelling and is again well implemented. I particularly liked the use of a carefully chosen picture to illustrate each location.
Frankenstein's Tomb is much shorter than Doctor Incognitus and much kinder to the player, so I was able to complete it more quickly. The puzzles are still tricky and I did stuggle a bit to find the right term/expression in a few places but overall this was pitched at a near perfect level for me--an 'average' player!
