Everyday, I used to just sit on my computer and play video games, watch anime or read blogs. Though from an outsiders perspective it was very boring, for me it was all I was used to for a very long time.
Because my family moved around a lot, every few years, it became increasingly harder for me to find genuine friends at my new schools. Maybe you would call it escapism but to me I felt more at home in another universe than in my living room with my own family. Probably because it was the only thing that didn't change every two, three years.
Then I'd be called for dinner and decide wether or not I actually wanted to go.

Crossing over to her side of the street, I managed to get close enough to say something where I was sure she would here me. However, I would always choke up and sadly not be able to follow through.\n[[Glassblowing]]

In the morning I would be so tired I felt like passing out but me still caring enough about my grades would get up, do my morning rutine and start walking to school. \n[[Encounter]]

As time passed I got to know her and soon she even introduced me to her friends, which thanks to there kindness, became mine. Being forced into a situation where I HAD to socialize made me come out of my shell and start becoming comfortable around people again. To this day she's my best friend and am glad to have met her. \n[[Conclusion]]

Then in the second semester, we coincidentally took the same Glassblowing class. Her being new and needing someone to teach her how to make things like cups, bowls etc. I was assigned to her as her assistant/teacher. \n[[Getting to know Her]]

Pretty soon we became good friends, I even got to invite her to my mom's wedding. \n[[END]]

On the way to school, I would often see a girl who I recognized from the hallways at school. I realized that she must live close to me or at least close enough where she would have to walk the same route to get to school. Almost everytime I saw her I would try to build up the courage to say, "Hi, my name's Kim," or some easy conversation start of the like. \n[[Socialize]] OR [[Keep to Yourself]]
