In Moratorium
Tanner Hall
The following story records the lives of six young people and the tragic events that transpired in Highwater, Virginia, approximately ten miles from a campsite in Lake Degotoga. All characters are fictional and any resemblance they bear is purely coincidental. You will be guiding these individuals through the events predating the tragedy. It is urged that readers treat each character with respect, for doing otherwise says a great deal of negativity about the reader. But, as free will exists, the paths you choose cannot be controlled. Beware the consequences.
To the reader: You are intended to play each character with respect to your own ideals and motivations, but if you wish to achieve the semblance of realism, it would be best to take into consideration the character's personality traits and values. All characters will be briefly described below, but this need not always sway your decision-making. People change, especially in times of trauma.
For a less guided experience, consider skipping the character traits and gather what details you can about each character through their actions and thoughts.
