On the start of your turn, you first roll your action die, which will be a D4, or a D8 if you are the Maverick.
Now, you have actions equal to the number on the die you rolled. You can spend those actions in 3 different ways.
YOU CAN :
Move :You can move your character any number of tiles in any direction, depending on how many actions you rolled.
Harvest :Place a 'Harvest' icon on the tile you are on. You now control that tile and gain that tiles worth every turn.
Buy :You can spend 1 action to exchange C for [[Units]]. See unit guide for further information
After that, collect last turns income, which is the total amount of C you gain per turn from all tiles YOU have harvested and still control. Tiles you have harvested this turn DO NOT grant income till next turn.
[[Start of tutorial]]First, choose your character from the roster we have provided, either the [[Maverick]], [[Corporal]], [[Arbiter]], or [[Wizard]].
Next, each player takes turn rolling a D4, place your character on the corner that has the same number you rolled on the die. Each character recieves the same color of tiels as their designated corner
(Plans = Green)
(Woods = light green)
(Mountains = White)
Two players cannot be on the same corner
[[Start of tutorial]]Each tile has a resource, and each resource has a C value. When you harvest a tile, you get that tiles resources C value every turn (as long as you still control it).
RESOURCE C VALUES
Fairy Dust 9C magical
Mithril 4C magical
Gold 3C basic
Elixir 3C magical
Coal 2C basic
Plants 2C basic
Fish 1C basic
wood 1C basic
[[Start of tutorial]]During your turn you can purchase Units in exchange for their C value.
UNIT C COSTS & USES
Warrior 5-4 used to defend or attack tiles
Worker 5-4 each worker on a tile increases its C output by a multiplier of 1. Multiple workers stack. BASIC tiles only
Sorcerer 10-8 Same as the worker but for MAGICAL tiles only
[[Start of tutorial]]Cones allow you to win the game. The first player to own 10 cones wins.
When a cone is placed on a tile, it locks that tile for the owner. That tile cannot be taken by other players. Once the cone is placed on the tile, workers/sorcers cannot be added to the tile. Each cone increases in price after each has been bought. The prices remain reletive to the player.
CONE C COSTS
10C 1 5C
15C 2 10C
20C 3 15C
25C 4 20C
30C 5 25C
35C 6 30C
40C 7 35C
45C 8 40C
50C 9 45C
65C 10 50C
[[Start of tutorial]]Character : MARVERICK
Unique Ability : When moving without soldiers around you, you roll a D8 for actions instead of a D4.
[[Start of tutorial]]Character : CORPORAL
Unique Ability : Gain +1 to soldier count in all military scenarios
[[Start of tutorial]]Character : ARBITER
Unique Ability : Units cost less (see [[Units]] page for exact cost), and cones cost less (see [[Cones/Winning]] page for exact cost) if the tile was previously owned by another player.
[[Start of tutorial]]Character: WIZARD
Unique Ability : Cones cost less (see [[Cones/Winning]] for exact prices) if bought on a tile with a magical resource, and sorcers cost the same as regular workers.
[[Start of tutorial]]Disasters start when the game has been going for 3 rotations of turns. After these, the player making the least amount of money per turn draws a card from the disaster pile at random. That player can then place the distaster tile (marked with a big D) anywhere on the board they want to (unless specified on the disaster card). On that players next turn they can move the disaster tile with a roll of a D4 (this does not count as the players action role). Any tile the disaster tile is on is hit the effects of the disaster.
